Integrating with IBM® Connections is a multiple step process. Review the high-level steps before you begin.

IBM Connections must already be installed.

About this task

IBM Connections portlets are not included with IBM WebSphere® Portal, but you can download them at no charge from the IBM Lotus and WebSphere Portal Business Solutions Catalog.

The following is a high-level view of the integration process. For detailed instructions see the WebSphere Portal information center in the wiki.

Procedure

  1. Download the IBM Connections portlets from the IBM Lotus and WebSphere Portal Business Solutions Catalog.
  2. Deploy the portlets using the instructions provided with them.
  3. Configure single sign-on for IBM Connections and WebSphere Portal.
  4. Configure WebSphere Portal to support the portlets.
