Adding a feed category

You can add a new feed category to organize your logically similar feed subscriptions that haven’t already been placed under a suitable feed category or in case you want to add a group of new feeds on a specific subject.

About this task

To add a new feed category:

Procedure

  1. From the portlet menu, select Personalize, Edit Shared Settings, or Configure. The General tab is selected, by default.
  2. On the Subscriptions page, click Add.
  3. Select the Category option button.
  4. Enter a name for the new category in the text field.
  5. Select a parent category for the new feed category.
  6. If you don't want to nest your category under some existing category, select My Subscriptions (top) as the parent category.
  7. Click OK.
